GMS Sponsored in SBASSE Workshop in LUMS
GMS and Illumina Participated as a platinum sponsor in SBASSE Life Sciences Workshop on Genetics and Genomics hosted by LUMS Lahore from Aug 22-26.
This workshop aims to foster scientific exchange and synergies across genetics and genomics by bringing together leading and emerging #scientists to discuss the classical concepts and the most recent advances in these areas.
During the Seminar, two presenters from Illumina, Mr. Abdulelah Alissa (Senior Clinical Sales Specialist) and Mr. Amadou Gueye (Regional Marketing Manager) talked about Illumina technology & advancements of NGS in the genomic field and Using NGS for Infectious #diseases, which applications beyond COVID-19? GMS also sponsored a gala dinner for participants.
This workshop was attended by senior research officers, students, and faculty members and exposed to computational approaches to understand functional genomics and how they can enhance understanding of cellular function.
