GMS participated in Haemcon 2020
22nd Annual Pakistan Society of Hematology (PSH) International Hematology Conference “Haemcon 2020” was held from 13th – 16th February 2020 at Avari Hotel, Lahore. The conference focused on advances in the fields of hematology diagnostics and clinical hematology, haem-oncology, transfusion medicine, and stem cell transplantation.
Following the legacy, this time GMS again participated as a Gold Sponsor & showcased its strength as a total hematology solution provider. GMS exhibited its comprehensive portfolio to cater the needs of blood banks and clinical diagnosis laboratories in oncology, blood disorders, & hemoglobinopathies.
GMS also invited their partner Sebia, leading provider of clinical protein electrophoresis equipment and reagents, to attend this mega event. Mr. Mohammad Qaderi, (Marketing Manager, Sebia) delivered an industry talk highlighting the advancements & new applications in capillary electrophoresis.
The event was a total success attended by a multidisciplinary group of hematologists, transfusion physicians, hemato-oncologist and oncologists from all over the world.
The participants showed great interest in the newly launched capillary instrument, Capillarys 3 Octa, a novelistic feature product with highly reliable results to screen samples for hemoglobin variants and thalassemias.
