GMS Launches Viral Transport Medium
GMS is proud to officially announce the launch of VTM, the first locally produced Viral Transport Medium for cost-efficient highest quality sample collection solution
As the global concern is growing over the outbreak of COVID-19, The success of the diagnosis of COVID-19 depends largely on the quality of the specimen and the conditions under which the specimen is transported and stored before being processed in the laboratory.
Our VTM is manufactured following the highest quality standard. The medium is based on the CDC formula, which is CE marked IVD product and complies with all EU regulations. The media has been aseptically filled in a sterile environment to ensure sterility & includes a flocked nasopharyngeal swab.
The performance of VTM is evaluated by several quality assurance measures. The product has also been supplied to leading molecular labs as samples for evaluation purposes.
Our goal is to provide a cost-efficient sample collection solution while matching the quality of the commercially available VTM.
