GMS presented demo on Xpert HCV to Hepatitis Control Program
Global Marketing Services presented a successful demonstration of Effective HCV Monitoring using GeneXpert System to Director General Health Pakistan (Dr Asad Hafeez) in the presence of Dr Huma Qureshi (Executive Director Pakistan Health Research Council) & chairman TAG (Technical advisory Group on Hepatitis C) on June 19th 2017.
During the demonstration, it was discussed to use GeneXpert systems, installed by TB program across Pakistan for HCV screening.
Xpert HCV has been proven beneficial for the effective disease evaluation and monitoring of drug (sofosbuvir) during the treatment course of time for Hepatitis. Most recently, on 4th April 2017, GeneXpert System and Xpert HCV Viral Load has been approved and accepted for the WHO list of prequalified in vitro diagnostics for public procurement.
