Workshop on Application of Digital Stereomicroscope DVM6 at NED
GMS organized a workshop on “Application of Digital Stereomicroscope DVM6” on 3rd January 2018 at NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi
The workshop was conducted by Mr. Kashif Mazhar (GMS Application Specialist for Leica) and focused on the demo and hands on of Leica DVM6, the fast and reliable digital microscope
-Tri Pack Films limited - To study different types of thin films and the main focus to analyze or measurement of films under polarized light
-Pakistan Engineering College - To study PCBs with tilting head
-Archroma Pakistan Limited - To see dimensions of yarns
-Materials & Metallurgical Engineering (Mehran University of Engineering & Technology) - To do failure analysis with tilting head and rotatable stage
-Textile Engineering (Mehran University of Engineering & Technology) - To analyze sample on Nano level
-Geology (University of Sindh Jamshoro) - To see minerals in powder form with tilting head and stitching software
-Geological Survey of Pakistan Karachi - To see minerals and thin film section
-Mechanical Engineering (DHA Suffa University) - To study different samples and have interest on stitching software and tilting head
-Polymer & Petrochemical (NED University of Engineering & Technology) - To work on polymeric materials on microscope level
-Metallurgical Engineering (NED University of Engineering & Technology) - To work on materials with focusing on tilting head option
-Electronics Engineering (NED University of Engineering & Technology) - To study PCBs element like capacitor diode with tilting head and corrosion in depth
-Textile Engineering (NED University of Engineering & Technology) - To study composite of yarn with fiber and surface topography
